5 Tips for Feeling Beautiful on Your Wedding Day

As your wedding day draws near, time may seem to zoom by, leaving you with a million things to do and very little time. 1. Rest the last two days before your wedding


Yes, this seems impossible. But, the very last thing you need is to be running around scrambling to get things done right before your wedding. When you begin planning your wedding, mark a large B on the two days in the calendar before your wedding so that you won’t be tempted to schedule anything else. This B means the day is only for beauty. You can have your nails done, get a massage or a facial, relax with dear friends, or anything else that makes you feel beautiful.


2. Eat well and drink plenty of water


There’s nothing worse than downing a double cheeseburger the day before you tie the knot. More than likely you’ll be feeling that cheeseburger the next day as you say ‘I do’. Instead, pay close attention to the foods you put in your body. Eat a balanced diet full of healthy fats, whole grains, proteins, fruits and vegetables. Most importantly, drink plenty of water. Proper hydration will leave your skin feeling supple and your energy levels high.


3. Hire a professional beauty expert


Even if you’ve got the whole hair and makeup gig down, a bad hair day on your wedding day is the last thing you need. Consider consulting with a hair stylist and makeup artist to beautify you properly. Make sure your stylist knows the look you want to achieve, and can deliver on your expectations.



4. Sleep at least 8 hours


Get into the habit if you aren’t already, of sleeping eight hours for at least a month before your wedding. Ample sleep keeps you feeling energetic and alert, and it will do wonders for your appearance. Plenty of sleep is also an efficient way of keeping stress at bay.


5. Surround yourself with Positivity


As your wedding day draws near, remind yourself of what’s important — the love between you and your partner. When you find obstacles in your path, stay positive and keep the big picture in mind. Surround yourself with special people in your life who will support you, lift you up, and remind you of just how beautiful you are.
